With the escalation of the conflict in Yemen, displacement has been the most serious manifestation of the humanitarian crisis, which has left behind displacement, poverty, deprivation and refuge in vulnerable locations that lack services. There are nearly 4.3 million internally displaced people, Yemen has remained the fourth largest internal crisis facing displacement globally. Most IDPs have weak purchasing power to secure non-food needs of shelter and other livelihood items. The Foundation has played a prominent and effective role in providing shelter services to the displaced, affected, marginalized and the most vulnerable communities in Hajjah and Hodeidah governorates, and helped reduce the suffering of the displaced and those affected by war and disasters by providing shelter and basic life requirements for hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries, whether by operating shelter centers, supporting displacement camps, as well as distributing shelter and non-food items.
